Average Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Mon, 21 Jul 2014
Interviewed Jun 2014 in Los Angeles, CA(took 21 days)
One of their internal recruiters reached out to me on LinkedIn. A technical phone screening was setup which went well, followed by an in person interview that took place on a Friday. I met with a potential peer, a director and the managing director of the practice. Had what I felt good conversations all around. At the end, I was asked to complete a writing sample. I found that odd, never having to do anything of the sort before. Upon completion, the HR person on-site who escorted me out informed me that I would get feedback from them early the following week. Here we are 5 weeks later and I haven't heard a peep. Given the fact they have recruiters whose sole job it is to source and follow up with candidates, the lack of communications left a sour taste in my mouth. I wound up getting multiple better offers in the past two weeks, so it wound up working out for the better.
