Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – No – Tue, 17 Oct 2017
Interviewed Oct 2,017 in Boston, MA (took 7 days)
There was an event the night before the interview where I had the opportunity to meet some current employees and the other candidates. Everyone was seated at tables and there were a limited number of seats, so it was difficult to talk to more than one of the employees.
I had two back-to-back 30 minute interviews on campus the next day. One of the interviews was a case study. I was emailed a process diagram the night before the interview, then during the interview I was given some additional information about the case. The interviewer asked some questions about how I would improve the process and to identify some risks in the process. Make sure you review the types of solutions Protiviti offers to clients. It seemed like they were looking for a specific "right" answer to some of the questions.
The other interview was just standard behavioral questions. Know why you want to work at Protiviti and why that specific position. My interviewer was nice, but she wasted the majority of the time talking about herself, which left me little time to answer/ask questions. I heard back from them within a week.
