They had the most bizarre interview process. I went to a dinner on the first night and the next morning we did team builders and ate lunch with their employees. They also took 2 months to decide on my candidacy and kept telling me they were still considering me. It gave me a bad impression of the company. They also sent me a $50 gift card for my reimbursements when I spent well over $80 on expenses to and from the interview site including gas.

Communicated with the recruiter for 3 months adjusting my schedule whenever needed to accommodate the interviewers busy schedule. Was recommended by an internal employee. I was told I would have feedback either before or after the new year, followed up with hiring manager no response, recruiter kept saying they were waiting for feedback from the interview. 30+ days post interview still no feedback. Wasted my time as well as theirs as I got another job and gave them a chance to make a decision however they came back a few days later and said it was nothing I did but they will not be moving forward. For the best place to work and all the things they claim about the interview process I am extremely disappointed in a company I was honestly thrilled about the opportunity to work for.

I applied through the university. They offered a pre-interview networking night where you go to know the interviewers more. Furthermore, the night before, they send out the case (more to come later).
The interviews were the next day. I started off with a more eccentric behavioral interview - where the dude was asking all sorts of deeper questions rather than the typical "walk me down your resume". The other interview was the case that was given last night. If you got lost, they handhold a little (but you had all night to prepare).

Spoke to an unprofessional recruiter, moved on to candidate's dinner, etc. Typical process but really unprofessional experience. Firstly, spoke to recruiters from Protiviti at my college campus career fair and the female recruiter was completely uninterested and uninvolved when she was typing on her computer at the table literally behind the sign for the company. The male recruiter was stand-offish and unhelpful. The only person decently kind was one of their employees who made me have some sort of interest in actually interviewing for the company when I applied.
The same female recruiter emailed a few times when I was given the interview with a significant number of typos and mishaps - clearly unprofessional. She rescheduled a number of times and was completely late to one and wasted my time. Having her reply to emails was essentially impossible. Not sure how hard it is to proofread an email before sending it to all your prospective interns, but she seemed to have messed that up somehow.
She also didn't do a very good job of vouching for the company or making sure I was even interested in working at Protiviti over a number of other consulting companies that pay better or have better clients and reach. Don't know why anyone would choose to work here over somewhere else if even their recruiter has no passion for the company or desire to spell words correctly.
Definitely didn't even consider the offer because of the horrible and unprofessional experience with the recruiter. Protiviti should really consider a new recruiter if they want people to take their company seriously, especially with so many other internal audit firms hiring from the schools that they send this recruiter to.
Never had such a negative experience in the recruiting process before for a company, especially a client-facing one.
