It was a thorough process with a case study at the second interview. I then got to go to the Cincinnati office for the final group interview where their was a team exercise/competition.

Both interviewers were really nice. However very misleading. They both told me I did fantastically yet I was rejected... They were very impressed with me on the case study so I literally have no idea where this went wrong. I thought it was a great interview before I saw the rejection.... So just be aware their extensive positive feedback is fake...

It was very standard for a consulting firm. Screening interviews on phone and then an in person interview in NY. I was impressed by the arrangements made by the recruiting team. The interviewers were interested in talking to me, and ready to pay attention.

Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Tue, 27 Feb 2018

I received an email from the recruiter a few days after applying online to schedule a time for a phone interview. The phone interview was around 30 minutes and it was great, the recruiter mostly ask about my experiences and why I am interested in working for Protiviti. I was excited to work for the company and received an offer to come to Dallas for a second round at the end of the conversation. I was told I would receive an email 10 minutes after our conversation with details about the office visit, but the recruiter never emailed me back for three days! When she finally did, she rescheduled the interview and did it again the week after. Three days before the office visit, she sent out an email at 9:30pm to cancel the interview after rescheduling it multiple times. This was extremely professional and it's the worse interview experience ever. This is a reflection of the company's culture, so don't waste your time.

Very laid back interview. Had a phone screen with HR and then went in the office to meet with a number of different people. No technical questions. Mostly conversational and laid back. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Had a "project" you had to complete and present to manager. Nothing too difficult but mainly to see how you think and solve problems. Got to meet a lot of other co-workers during interview which was very nice.

Was recruited through campus/university recruiting. The process took about 2 weeks. There is one 30-minute behavioral interview and one 30-minute case study interview where you are given a situation and business process and need to analyze it to your interviewer as a consultant.

Interview Questions
They give you a business process case study a couple days before to analyze and be able to talk about in the interview. Make sure you do your research, they ask you to pattern match and fill holes in where needed. (i.e. where you would add an IT system). They will ask about your Plan B and Plan C, and what members of what departments you would call upon to complete your solution.

I applied at my University's career fair and got selected for an interview within three days. The first interview was on campus and consisted of two parts: a thirty-minute case interview and a thirty-minute behavioral interview. The case interview consisted of mitigating risks in a process. The behavioral interview consisted of typical behavioral questions with a focus on working with teams. Within a week I was invited back for a second round interview. This interview was in the office and consisted of a presentation where you sell Protiviti to a client along with a couple of talks with upper management. The second part of the interview process could have been more transparent. Following the interview, I asked for an update. My update question was completely glossed over and I received a rejection letter a week later. Also, this company preaches diversity, but the office I visited was not diverse.

Interviewed Feb 2,018 (took 14 days)
There was an over the phone, casual, 30 minute interview with a recruiter. By the end of the conversation the recruiter had let me know that they wanted to schedule an office visit for me to meet the staff and do a 3 part interview. One part behavioral, one case study, and one casual interview that was geared more towards asking questions. The case study materials are given to you the day before the interview and it went much smoother than I expected. I had never done a case study in an interview before but so long as you look over the case and think about possible risks and solutions you will be fine. Overall it was a great interview process, I really enjoyed the case interview and Protiviti seems to employ overall great people who are easy to talk to and very approachable.

We had a pre-interview dinner in Chicago on Thursday night and met some of the interviewers, fellow candidates, and HR managers. The next day, we spent the day Friday learning about the company during the office visit. There were panel discussions, team activities, etc. There was a 30 minute behavioral interview and a 30 minute case study interview. The HR manager sent a brief of the case interview information the night before, so I spent Thursday night in the hotel preparing for it. The case included improving a pricing process from corporate to franchise for a fictitious company. Both interview experiences were pleasant and relaxed.

Interviewed
After being asked to come into the office for a second-round interview, I received a schedule breakdown which included three different interviews with three managers in the office as well as two other get-to-know-you meetings with some other members of the team all of which were scheduled over a few hours. Then, the day before the interview, I received the beginnings of a case study that was extrapolated upon in one of the interviews. Overall, everyone I met was so welcoming and friendly, and they all seemed to really care what I had to say. I'm really excited about working here this summer.

Met them at a university event and from there was asked for an interview, which happened on my campus. It was a great interview as both were directors for the office location I was interested in. There was a behavioral interview and a case interview. Then went to the location for final round interviews. They were very conversational and fun so it didn’t even feel like an interview!

The interview process was amazing! I had phone screens with key members of the offices I would support as well as with members of the HR Team. I had a phone interview and in-person interviews with most members of the department, including a coffee meeting. The process was very efficient and well coordinated. The interviewers made me feel very comfortable, it felt more like a conversation than an interview. Everyone was extremely humble and professional. They were all very knowledgeable and seemed happy and dedicated to their careers at Protiviti. My interview experience was amazing and it made my decision to work with Protiviti an easy one!
